MEET THE ANIMALS

This blog is dedicated to the antics of the animals of the house! Our family consists of:

ROCKO THE BEARDED DRAGON
Rocko is a 4 year old male sand fire X blue bar bearded dragon
His hobbies include eating, sleeping, basking, soaking, and pooping

SPARTACUS THE ARGENTINE BLACK-NOSE TEGU
Spartacus is a year old and currenty 3.5 feet long.
His hobbies include EATING, sleeping, exploring every nook and cranny, basking and pooping

LOKI THE ALBINO BURMESE PYTHON
Loki is 3 feet long and still a baby.
His hobbies include sleeping, exploring, keeping me up at night, eating and cuddling

KAA THE COLUMBIAN RED-TAILED BOA
Kaa is 5 feet long and growing! He was rescued from terrible conditions he was being kept in by his previous owner. He came to me in a dirty tank (documented in a video), and emaciated. I am happy to say he is doing perfectly fine now and is fat and happy =)
His hobbies include getting himself stuck in the tightest of spaces, wrapping himself around anything he can get his tail on and cuddling.

STARK THE BABY COLUMBIAN RED-TAIED BOA
Stark is another rescue case, he actually came to me in worse conditions than Kaa did.
He was starved and covered in mites, as well as stuck in 4-5 layers of old stuck skin that he couldn't shed off due to low humidity and improper husbandry.
I was able to remove all layers of stuck shed off of him, and he's doing perfectly fine =)
His hobbies include basking in the sun, eating, hiding, sleeping and pooping

NAGINI THE COASTAL CARPET PYTHON
Nagini is the only one in the family who has a nasty attitude (well besides me). He is still pretty amazing and the most curious of all my snakes. He's quite a cutie.
His hobbies include musking me when I attempt to handle him, biting me when I attempt to handle him, coming up to the glass of his enclosure to peek in on what you are doing.

FLAPJACK THE SUN CONURE
FlapJack is going to turn 1 year old on January 20th. He is such a clown and can entertain for HOURS! Anyone who has a sun conure will never need a TV ever again! He is such a cutie!
His hobbies include screaming, shredding paper, chewing on anything he can get his beak on, hanging upside down by one foot, dangling by his beak, taking baths, EATING, pooping, and cuddling.

TRINITY THE CONGO AFRICAN GREY

Trinity will be 5 months old on the 12th of January. We are still getting to know each other, but she has been such a sweetie.

LEMONDROP THE DUMBO RAT
Lemondrop is looked after by my sister; She is more of a "furry" kind of person ;P
Lemondrop joined the family just before Clio passed away. Unfortunately Lemondrop lost an eye when she was attacked by Clio, but that doesn't stop her from being super hyper and explorative. She acts as if she hasn't lost an eye at all. =)
Her hobbies include keeping my sister up at night, shredding paper, making nests, EATING, exploring my sister's bed, pooping and sleeping.
